NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

MyTappyPlace provides guided Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), commonly known as 'tapping', as a self-regulation and wellbeing tool. Our Services are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, counselling, or any other form of professional mental health support.

The content provided through our guided audio sessions, on-screen visual prompts, and wellbeing questionnaires is intended to complement — not replace — professional care. EFT is a self-help technique and, while many users find it beneficial for managing stress and emotional regulation, individual results may vary.

NO PRACTITIONER–CLIENT RELATIONSHIP

Use of MyTappyPlace does not establish a practitioner–client, therapist–patient, or any other professional relationship between you and MyTappyPlace Ltd, its founders, employees, or contributors. The guided sessions are pre-recorded and are not personalised to your individual circumstances.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are voluntarily choosing to use EFT tapping as a self-help tool.
  • You take full responsibility for your own physical and emotional wellbeing while using the App.
  • You will stop any session immediately if you experience distress, discomfort, or any adverse reaction.
  • You will seek appropriate professional support if you have any concerns about your mental or physical health.
  • The stress ratings and wellbeing questionnaires within the App are self-reported tools for personal tracking and are not clinical assessments.

HEALTH CONDITIONS

If you have a diagnosed mental health condition, are currently receiving treatment or medication for a mental health condition, or have a history of trauma, we strongly recommend that you consult your GP or a qualified mental health professional before using MyTappyPlace. EFT tapping may bring up strong emotions, and professional guidance can help you navigate this safely.
